Normally I pay about $65 for an oil change after coupon usage, but I was immediately hit with a $125 price quote initially. I will be the first to admit that I did not have a great reaction towards the situation, but then an employee named Tyler came over and instead of de-escalating, he made the situation worse. Turns out that the charge in question was for a full synthetic change, not a synthetic blend change which my vehicle has had in the past. When the situation was cleared up, I apologized for my reaction, but instead of taking it on the chin, he basically treated me like crap. He immediately told the other employees, “let’s get this guy out of here quick”. When I asked him if the vehicle was fine for synthetic blend, he said to me and I quote, “I’m not trying to conversate with you right now, but yes“. My receipt shows that fluid levels, tire pressure, etc. were checked, but they didn’t even do any of that. All they did was put oil in my vehicle and they sent me on my way. I don’t blame the manager, I blame the employee for this one. He severely needs to be retrained or at the very least needs an attitude adjustment. If this happens again, I will take my business elsewhere.
