THEY RELEASED A "LIFE HAZARD" ONTO THE ROAD – AVOID AT ALL COSTS If I could give zero stars, I would. Monro, Inc. and its subsidiaries (Car X and Tire Barn Warehouse) are not just incompetent; they are dangerous. In September, Car X in Charleston, IL stripped my lug bolts during a routine service and hid it from me. It took a separate mechanic in Pennsylvania to point out that my wheel was seized. When I went back to Charleston, they admitted they messed up, blamed a fired employee, and sent me to Tire Barn in Champaign, IL. Instead of fixing the catastrophe, Tire Barn reinstalled a structurally compromised wheel and sent me on my way. I only found out how close I was to a fatal accident when Costco Tire Center refused to let me drive the car away this month, calling it a "huge road hazard" that no professional should have ever let on the street. To top it off, trying to get help from their corporate office was a nightmare. I spoke with Theresa Griffith, Guest Service Manager, who was incredibly unhelpful, dismissive, and clearly didn't care that her company’s negligence ruined my Easter vacation and put me in physical danger. Do not trust these people with your vehicle. They will damage your car, lie about it, and then act like you’re the problem when you demand they make it right. They are a disgrace to the automotive industry.

I took our vehicle to tire Barn to have the TPMS sensors replaced. They replaced them and the low tire light was still on when finished and they told me to drive a few miles and the ligh would go off. It did not. They reprogrammed again. The low tire light went off and the traction control light came on. Again I was told drive a few miles and it will go off. It did not. They told me to take it to the Toyota dealer which is what I will do and should have done in the first place.

We had a leaking valve stem and live an hour away. After being turned away by a warehouse tire store, I pulled in to Tire Barn. They immediately got our car in, and offered entertainment for my toddlers. Very reasonable prices and amazing service.

Had an appointment at 11:30a however it was about 3p before we left for just 4 new tires. Manager stated they had new people in training. Would have rated much higher had they actually completed the service requested, put a new tire on the flat in the jeep, 3 additional new tires on the worn ones, and put the spare back on the door. After “service” we learned the flat was still in the jeep and the spare was replaced with a new tire! The spare had <40 miles on it! I had told the appointment clerk what was needed, the manager when I arrived, and my husband came in the store and told the manager the same information. Their “free service” to inspect under the hood was not requested, consumed time, and provided no value. This rating would have been a ZERO or at best a 1 had it not been for the manager changing the spare back and putting the new tire on the rim that had the flat. All of that took <20 minutes!

My son went in for 4 tires and an oil change After 2 hours of waiting he was told his tires couldnt be changed because there machine wasnt big enough to do tires that they had in stock So after the 2 hour wait they still had to change the oil All in all 3 hours for an oil change They did not put an oil change sticker in the window nor did the reset the oil life on the dash ,and they still charged him 105$ Definetly will not be back
