  Sal, Cole and Bob run an amazing operation here. Unsolicited feedback from customers share the same experience I have. Car repairs are never fun, but somehow they make the experience rewarding. They are friendly, chill, trustworthy, complimentary, they give you the straight story and also direct you to others when needed. My TLX Type-S slid off the road this week smashing into a curb and then going up and over onto the median within a neighborhood. My car was suddenly shimmying on the left side. Brought it in to CarX, they pulled a 4 foot snow plow indicator stick out from underneath the car. It got lodged in there when the accident occurred. They then took it to Discount Tire to check the wheels for proper balance. One wheel was bent and they suggested I take it to AWRS in Barrington to fix the wheel and then bring it back for alignment, which I did this morning. See separate review, because AWRS was awesome too. All told, under $330 for this entire process including what AWRS did. They basically general contracted this whole thing and got me back to my pre loss condition in about a 24 hour span Amazing

  Writing this for my grandpa, this company went above and beyond for him today while he was stuck at Woodmans as his car died in the parking lot. My grandpa called Car-X Tire and Auto and told them his situation. A guy said he’d be over in a few minutes since it wasn’t far from their business. The guy ended up walking about 1/4 of a mile in 18 degree weather to find my grandpa in his white Sonata in the handicap spot. The guy jump started the car with a little battery and the car started up. As soon as my grandpa put it in reverse though, the car shut back off. The guy then said it must be the key faub battery that is the issue. So, the guy offered to take the key faub back to the store to fix it and then bring it back to him and he did just that. My grandpa tried to offer him $ and the guy politely declined multiple times. To know there are genuine people like this in our world still today gives me such hope in our society. I want to personally thank that gentlemen who prevented my grandpa from sitting in a freezing cold car waiting on a repair man or someone else to come along. Kudos to Car-X Tire and Auto for showing the utmost compassion to those in need! I just wish I knew the guys name!

  The best possible customer service. Delightful staff. Dump your dealership. I got work done for a third of the dealership price. Was offered a warmed up loaner instead of waiting. The best!

  Our van broke down last week, we. had it towed after hours, they were able to get parts and fixed the next day! I think we were fortunate due the vehicle being more popular, prts were easy to find, we have other cars that take 2x longer as no one has parts on stock- so we are grateful!!
