  I walked in the store and ruffly waited about 5 minutes or so when I was finally approached by an employee ( I believe she was a manager) I was turned off when I said hello and got no salutations in return. She blurted out what can I do for you in an unpleasant voice. When I asked her I was there to pick up an online I had placed over an hour ago. she said I have no online orders then pulled up her screen and said, oh it just popped up. Then told me it was out of stock and left it at that, leaving me with no answers or possible solutions. Needless to say I was totally turned off by then and walked out in discussed.

  Went in to get a part, and was clueless as I am not well versed on cars. I was in from out of town, and having some issues with the car I was driving. The lady who helped me was super helpful, knowledgeable, and made things less stressful. Very professional, and much appreciated. That is rare these days.

  Pulled up to the Advance Auto Parts in Calumet City expecting the usual “aisle 3, good luck” experience… and instead got actual human interaction. Wild. From the jump, the staff was friendly, helpful, and actually listened to what I needed instead of just nodding and disappearing. And let me talk about Renee real quick because whew. Store Manager Renee is THAT girl. Super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. She explained things without making me feel dumb, rushed, or like I was interrupting her day. It felt more like chatting with a friend who really knows car parts than dealing with a manager. You can tell the whole team reflects her energy, welcoming, helpful, and on point. I left with the right parts, zero stress, and honestly a better mood than when I walked in. If customer service like this was everywhere, the world would be a better place. 10/10, will absolutely be back. Calumet City understood the assignment.

  I stopped by the Advance Auto Parts in Calumet City recently and honestly had such a good experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and actually listened to what I needed instead of rushing me through. They were patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I was getting the right parts for my car. The store manager, Renee, was especially amazing. She went above and beyond to help me out and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about her customers. It didn’t feel like a transaction, it felt like getting help from someone who actually wants to see you leave confident and taken care of. I really appreciate the service I received and will definitely keep coming back to this location. It’s rare these days to find customer service that feels this personal.
