  Be a wear of rental car companies taking your reservation without having cars available. Don't get off a plane before you call the rental company to verify they have cars available. My plane was diverted from Chicago to Peoria, IL do to weather, so I would miss my connecting flight. I decided to book a rental car to drive home. I started out in Peoria, IL airport with Enterprise / National, which they said had cars available. Come to find out they did not. At first, the counter person stated they had two rows of cars, but when he pulled up my reservation, he said we don't have any cars. Instead of explaining things he just stated no cars and then walked away and closed the office door. It would have been nice to have an explanation. I don't understand why Enterprise / National allows a reservation when they can't rent out any cars. It is a system problem and I believe all rental cars have the same issue. I then called around and finally found the Enterprise / National Bloomington, IL location having cars, which they verified. I had to take a $200 taxi from Peoria, IL to Bloomington, IL to pick up the car. The counter lady was wonderful and processed my rental agreement and I finally received a vehicle. I drove it to Indianapolis, IN and dropped it off. I sent an e-mail to obtain my receipt, but at the time, I have yet to receive a receipt. I hope this writing will improve Enterprise / National system and customer relations. The morale of the story, if you decide to drive to your destination, please verify the rental car company has vehicles available. Don't rely on your reservation.

  Don’t waste your time at this location. I had a reservation but I guess that doesn’t matter they still would not rent me a car. They don’t honor their reservations.

  I booked a vehicle that did not include mileage. They switched me to a different class that would not charge mileage. I paid more money and got charged for mileage anyway. I contacted customer service. They said they would reach out to the branch (Bloomington, Illinois Airport) and they could fix it. I have not heard anything back. They wanted a review, so I am giving it
