- E9Elite 9Nov 6, 20251.0I normally go to discount tires next door, but the line was big. So I came to Mavis because there was no wait or line. I needed the front passenger tire to be checked for an air leak. First off the service was very slow! I came in at 8:05am, they found two nails. One in the front right and another one at the rear right. After the work was completed I was out by 10:15am mind you! I’m already late for work! The guy that handed me my keys to my me, his hands were super dirty from handling the tires. I had to clean my steering wheel to remove the dirt the guy had left. One thing is please respect my property and make sure you take care of my vehicle. That is not acceptable! Once I took off to work, bam my steering wheel started to shake so bad over 50 miles per hour! I called the shop back and let them know, they did not balance my tire properly! I then come back on a Thursday after work on the same week. They told me a weight fell off and that is what caused the issue. That is incorrect there was no glue residue from the weights that fell off. I then drove off home and the next morning my TPMs goes off and my tire is reading at about 22 psi front right again. I finally had enough and took the wheel off and discovered there was a tiny hairline crack on the inner close to the lip of the barrel! Why didn’t they inform me that my rim had a slight crack on the first visit? This information could have avoided me time and money! Failing to inspect the tire/ rim properly and failing to balance a tire properly is not acceptable. I will never be stepping foot in this establishment ever again for any tire related repairs or tire replacement. I can’t trust any of the people doing work on the cars at Mavis! I was able to find a place to repair my rim and balance the tire properly. I also just bought a full set of four Bridgestones and will be having my car serviced at Discount tires. Date of service was 10/08/25.
