And this was my first time I went in to get tires. Easy to shop online for what I needed and get straight upfront pricing. I made an appointment, went in and was taken care of quickly. They soft recommended some other services, but no pressure (and no pun intended). If you’re looking for a straight deal on quality tires, definitely check out this shop.
- BMBrian MatejkaOct 21, 20252.0Context: I bought 4 new tires from the Belle Tire in Villa Park November last year which, they explained to me then, would entitle me to a free tire alignment within one year (one year warranty). I made an appointment for the Belle Tire in Carol Stream for today and accidentally went to this one (that's my mistake). When I arrived a professional gentlemen with glasses said hello and that they would be right with me as he was helping another customer. Loved this. What I didn't love was the woman who came out to help me and already seemed annoyed (didn't get her name but she was heavy-set). She said can I help you and I said hello, as she didn't, and told her I was here for a free tire alignment. She asked for my number and just after I gave it to her she said it wasn't a free alignment but a free alignment CHECK. I asked if she was sure as I spoke to Marcus at the Carol Stream location (I didn't know I was at the wrong location yet) and he assured me it was a free tire alignment as I bought four new tires from Belle Tire. She said no abruptly and pointed to a random customer receipt that was in front of her on the desk and said it was just an alignment check; in not at all friendly nor professional voice. I told her she could cancel my appointment as I was annoyed at the experience at that point and as I turned to leave she added, "you're also at the wrong location." Cool, thanks for that. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is for the greeting I received from the first gentleman who was helping a customer who had a reflective vest on (the customer not the employee). When I got home I immediately called the Carol Stream location to apologize for missing my appointment and to ensure I was mistaken about it being a free tire alignment. Luckily, my call was received by Marcus, the same gentleman who assured me last week that it was a free tire alignment and he reiterated, "they told you what? No, you get a free tire alignment because you got the 1 year warranty. You already paid for it." He was, previously and today, very professional and understanding. He didn't talk down to me like the woman at the Bloomingdale location. I rescheduled my appointment for next week at the Carol Stream location and will never visit this Bloomingdale location again; so long as that woman works there and is not trained properly. I will be leaving, most likely, a 5 star review for the Carol Stream location next week after my alignment.
