    Customer of over 10 years, this is the best shop around, even among tuffy’s. The Tuffy in orland park quoted me about 4x what Tuffy Batavia did for transmission fluid and coolant flush. Hard to find a trustworthy auto shop but this place is excellent. Manager is great.

    I walked into this location right before closing without an appointment. I had never been to this shop and had no relationship with the staff. I expected to be pushed off and given an appointment for the following week. Instead, I was treated like a customer that had been bringing cars in for years. The owner took me along for a test drive of my vehicle. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I was driving, he was personably as well. Instead of putting me through the wringer and having pay money for services I did not need, he assured me nothing was wrong with the transmission. If you want a shop you can trust and be treated like family, go to this location!

    Got oil change and issue with tire assembly checked out. Whole entire time the manager/owner told me about situation. He may have had a stressful day as we all have. However whole time I spoke with him and asked him questions as customer, the energy was I was annoying and a nuisance based on how he talked to me & his responses. I would regularly come to this location because price, respect and transparency. After today being talked to like I am an annoyance, I won’t come to this place again. It’s sad there were a few good places left for car repairs that treat you with respect & present attention. Not this place anymore. Having a stressful day is no excuse to be short, ignore what a customer says, and have a bad attitude. I know other places that treat people with attentiveness. Definitely never coming back to this location. As bad a day as the owner may be having, he has no idea what other people may be going through, even as someone half his age. Owner is snarky and rude and has 0 customer service/people skills. He knows what he’s doing. How you treat people is #1 to me & I will never return. As well as thousands of friends in Kane county I have I will tell all about the rude owner of this location. Can not reply to virtue signaling comments from this owner with no respect for anybody else. Had work completed, DID NOT NEED NEW BRAKE HOSE as John @ Tuffy’s stated, CALIPER WAS NOT SEIZED UP, IT NEEDED LUBRICATION & DECOMPRESSION. This manchild owner wanted to upcharge adding additional parts not needed. The owner does not care about safety of people or customers on the road, just wants to make more money. If this place offered to do this for free, I still wouldn’t waste a second at this place. A man who is rude as an owner does not care about customers, integrity or honesty. Very sad. Thank you to the mechanics and other employee at this location, for they are putting this business on their back!
