  Do not buy from the dealer. Less than 24 hours of purchasing a CPO 2025 Volvo XC60 from McGrath Volvo, I found three issues: a seat belt fault, cigarette smoke odor (which was apparent on the way home, so clearly they masked it for the test drive), and hood scratches. Upon reporting and multiple escalations the safety issue was properly fixed — the odor and hood scratches were not resolved. Not what you’d expect from a CPO vehicle for which you pay premium. Would not recommend this dealer or Volvo CPO.​​​​​​​​

  urgently I want to warn everyone — please check your cars very carefully before going on the road from MCGRATH VOLVO CARS BARRINGTON. we almost got into a serious accident because of their unprofessionalism, negligence, and complete lack of attention to their work. these guys did not fully tighten the bolts in our tires and we felt them shaking while driving. it was extremely dangerous. if we had not stopped in the middle of the road to check, we could have been in a terrible accident. we had to tighten everything ourselves in dangerous conditions in the middle of the road just to make it back safely. this kind of carelessness can cost lives.

  My husband and I stopped by the dealership on Valentine’s Day to check out a car he’d been discussing with the online sales team. Franz greeted us right away and made the whole visit easy, honest, and enjoyable — no pressure, no runaround, and no attempts to push us into anything else. My husband ended up buying the car, and we felt great about the decision. Franz was not only helpful but also fun to talk to. When we moved to Pritesh’s office to finalize everything, the excellent service continued. This was one of the best car‑buying experiences we’ve ever had. I won’t need a new car for a while, but after how well we were treated, I might even consider a Volvo next time.

  I’m officially on my second XC90 and honestly, I couldn't see myself driving anything else. The car is amazing as always, but the crew at McGrath Volvo in Barrington really made the entire process extremely easy. Huge thanks to Derrick Acker for helping me get everything squared away—he was great to work with and made sure the handoff was smooth. We couldn't pick up our car on a Saturday because we were out of town, but Derrick personally dropped off the car to our house early Sunday morning when we returned back home. The car, the dealership, and the overall experience was a 10/10.
