Cesar’s team was excellent! I switched from ADS to interlock because of the many problems that ADS system had.

Service was terrible. Wouldn't let me wait for my vehicle. Very, very poor knowledge of how it works.
Stayed for 10 minutes & called it quits. Never got the car started. Called a tow truck at 2 pm said 1 hr. Called again at 2pm & they said 2 1/2 hours. Finally got there at 8 p m. Loaded up & driver got a call from his office to move an accident vehicle in Montgomery. Took me there & finally home after 9 pm. It all sucked. Batttery dead next am. Called another installer in Batavia & he said he'd call it in and get permission to pick it up.
He called me when it was ready, I started it up and drove 1 1/2 miles home. As I pulled into my driveway I could see my headlights on the garage. 1/2 way up the drive the car died and wouldn't start again..What gives?

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.

What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event. Depending on your state’s regulations, multiple failed tests may trigger additional penalties, such as lockouts or reporting to your monitoring authority. Intoxalock devices allow you to retest after a short wait if alcohol is no longer detected. Always follow your state’s guidelines to remain compliant.
Can I install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle I don’t own?
Yes, in most cases, you can install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle you regularly drive, even if you’re not the registered owner.
