  This shop has been working on getting my elderly mothers car repaired since Nov 19th. She is 80. While i think they're overall a seemingly good shop, good people, the fact is they keep texting my mom telliing her the car is ready when its not. This poor old women gets excited and then when she calls, over the phone, they tell her its not ready! THIS is causing her ALOT of consternation!!!!! <--- In normal cicumstance i would never come to google about something like this, but something is wrong about how his Gerber location is run. Something just doesn't seem right. They dont deserve to be 4 or 5 stars thats for sure.

  So far my repairs are fine but info I was given and customer service made me angry.

  I was recommended this shop by my insurance to get an estimate for my car. The estimator took all of 2 minutes to look at my car and I felt like I was being rushed out the door because she had other meetings and clients to attend (as if I wasn't a client). My appointment was at 8am, I got there at 8:05am, the estimator was late and got there at 8:10am, and I was back home by 8:15am with my drive back to my family that I was visiting being about a 4 minuite drive. I told my insurance that I wasn't sure if they did a really good look because there was significant damage to the trunk she didn't even bother opening to look at. I think the insurance called the shop because I got a "lovely" phone call the next day where the estimator said I didn't know what I was talking about and that my car was completely fine and safe to drive. I then took my car to another Gerber shop who at one glance of my opened trunk deemed my car unsafe to drive, this was after I had driven that car from Illinois to Florida where I actually live. I'm not saying these people don't do their job, but don't put your trust in this place.

  Loved the experience we had at Gerber this past month. Very nice and courteous people to deal with, and they did beautiful work on our car. Would highly recommend Gerber to anyone.
