They where so lazy the didn’t want to pick my order I placed then I was told my order got canceled when I got there! I went back and for with the guy showed my receipt and everything!! All he said was I can’t help you! When I asked if he could make sure I can buy the part now since I’m here and I was told NO and he didn’t wanna help me anymore and just walked away! Everyone els that was working there didn’t care either and just ignored me! NO WONDER WHY ADVANCE IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!! I’ll never use them again!

Gio (not sure on the spelling) did a great job, it took some time but it worked and it was done right and that's what matters to me. Great employee, very helpful. If he worked for me, I'd give him a raise!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
