  The Tech was very knowledgeable. When it rained that's when I noticed that my driver side windshield wiper was damaged.

  Shop around first. I have used Safelite AutoGlass in the past to repair a chip in the windshield. I have always been happy with their service. However, on this particular occasion, I reached out to them for a quote to replace the windshield on my 2016 Ford Transit. I contacted 5 different companies in the immediate area for quotes. On average, prices ranged from $450 to $750. Safelite AutoGlass wanted to charge me $1550. Outrageous. When I told the representative at the desk that her quote was 3 times what I received from other companies, she replied, "okay" and offered no other alternatives or explanation to keep my business. The reason for leaving this review today is to warn potential customers to shop around.

  I’m honestly not very happy… …because apparently I can’t leave MORE than 5 stars for my technician. Guy shows up, fixes my glass like he’s been doing it since birth, cleans everything up, and disappears like a windshield ninja. Meanwhile I’m standing there wondering if I should tip him, hire him, or just follow him around and have him fix random things in my life. Safelite—if you’re reading this—give that man a raise before someone else does. Fast, clean, professional, and somehow made getting my glass fixed feel like a VIP experience. Would absolutely use again… unless he starts his own company, then I’m switching sides. 😄

  Great experience with getting my windshield replaced. I was pleasantly surprised with the availability, I looked to schedul on a Saturday and had an appointment for Monday. I was not expecting to get this done so fast which is why I put off getting it done for as long as I did.

  Service was top notch from initial inquiry to installation and follow up. Alton location was very informative of when it would be done and the service tech Alex told me about warranty and did B very good job
