When it came time to pick up the car I took an Uber across town to the location only to be told that they had overbooked and would not have a car for me until the afternoon of the following day — more than 24 hours after my reservation. So I was stranded at the Enterprise, missed an important appointment, and had to cancel all my business meetings out of town for the week. The staff told me that they book reservations without regard for their actual inventory. Such a deceptive business practice.

We recently rented a car that had no business on the road. A malfunctioning key fob and 2 new totally new front tires before the return trip, and hours wasted in OH trying to get help. Everyone renting cars needs to be very aware of what you are renting, your life may depend on it! NOW...5 Stars to Robert and Jacob, mngrs of the Alton Enterprise for comping us the aforementioned rental. They are fair and honest representatives of this business and deserve to move up the ladder. Great customer service from these guys! We have rented from Enterprise many times before, and will again, but I will do a thorough safety check of my own from now on. Thank you Robert and Jacob!
