- EJErnest “JR”Dec 24, 20251.0I gave them a one star and that is just because there is not an option for a zero star which is exactly what this rip off company is worth i bought 2 batteries for my diesel truck and I asked them 3 times if they were good heavy duty batteries they said yes then I took my truck to my mechanic to have some other work done and he said they put the wrong batteries in cause they didnt have enough cold cranking amps so I went back down to talk to the guy at point s to tell him about it so he looked it up and they had to go to auto zone to get different batteries and I said now this is going to be the same price right he said yes then I took my truck down to have them installed and he said these batteries are $421 each but we were able to give u a $261 discount and the first batteries both of them cost $423 so I called my mechanic and asked him what he would charge me for batteries told him what point s was charging me and he looked it up and he said that his cost is less than $200 each for them so they more than doubled the price on them and I had my mechanic put in 2 heavy duty batteries which cost me $318 which was over $100 less than the cheap batteries point s put in so not only did they try to rip me off but they lied to me my parents have been dealing with this company for over 60 years and I have been dealing with them since I have been driving almost 40 years I would recommend everyone stay as far away from this rip off company as possible cause if they rip one person off like that then im sure they rip off everybody the same but if u don't care about money or getting ripped off more power to u but im not going to let them rip me off anymore
- MMMelanie MooreDec 12, 20255.0My husband and I live in Glenns Ferry, Idaho...about 50 miles from Twin Falls. Today, we were on a short trip out of town when the tire pressure light came on. I know that if the air is cold, it can affect pressure but today, it was 55°. I searched for a Point S location since we had purchased our tires at our local Point S. The young man I talked to said to come in and they would help us. When we got there, Chris Quigkty was the young man who helped us. He answered all my questions and explained why the valve stem was leaking. He fixed it quickly then checked the pressure and valve stems on the rest of the tires. He was so quick and helpful and respectful!! Thank you, Chris!!
