  I have been using Gills way before it was ever Gills and it was OK tire. I have seen changes from when you could get a few used tires put on because one couldn’t afford new ones, to they can’t rotate your tires because the tread was too thin, hoping that would persuade you to purchase a new set. Just to tell you that they could sell you a new set but if you wanted the warranty, that used to be included in the price, could be purchase separately. I have a difficult time excepting that from what used to be the most affordable and honest place in the Magic Valley to purchase new tires and an oil change. Makes me think about finding a new place to do business with.

  We had an issue with one of our vehicles. We then scheduled an appointment to get the vehicle taken care of, for the most part I was pleased. Friendly staff and quick service once the car got into the shop. However, where my issue lies is with how long it took for the service to start. We scheduled our service for noon. I arrived 5-10 minutes early for check in and everything. Around 2 pm I called to check in and get an update on my vehicles status and it hadn’t even been pulled into the shop. Our afternoons and evening are very busy and this really made me frustrated because the service didn’t start until I had called to check in on my vehicle thus making my afternoon and evening that much busier. Why do I have to call to see if my vehicle is being worked on or not when the scheduled appointment was noon? Why even make an appointment when my vehicle isn’t even going to be touched around the appointment time. I can understand maybe 15-30 minutes of time before getting a vehicle into the shop but 2 hours is way too long. I have had pretty decent experiences with this business so far but it feels like I should have just been a walk in because when we just walked in we got taken care of much faster than when I made an appointment.

  Don't bother making an appointment. They don't follow their appointments. Drop of for an 8am appointment 10am not even touched yet. Told they are busy, ok but you make appointments for a reason.

  Very pleased with the entire service department that took care of me. I had a flat tire and they came to my home to repair it to get to the shop to place new tires. They were extremely friendly thru the entire process. I highly recommend Gills for any auto needs.
