They replaced a water pump twice within 6 months, another time they pulled out a part during an inspection and didn’t put it in and it almost caused a ton of damage if another mechanic didn’t find that. They are overpriced, and have never truly fixed any of our issues. I would never come back here

Point S is awful and dishonest. They are a classic example of an auto shop that sees something isn't 100% and insists it needs replaced and will rip you off. Don't go to them unless you want run-around and deceit.
I heard a concerning noise on my car, so I dropped it off to hear their evaluation. They told me
"You need rear brake pads and rotors
Front and rear struts/shocks, with new sway bar links
Followed by an alignment Total for those repairs is $2,638.73
DOES NOT INCLUDE THE TIRES." I had a friend who's a mechanic and so I decided to ask him to come over and look at it before I pulled the trigger and had Point S replace everything. He told me my back brakes needed replaced and a couple other very minor things, but that was it. Out the door, I should've been $300 instead of $2700. Later I told this to my coworkers, my friends, and my neighbors and I got repeated reports of Point S being dishonest and treating people like "garbage." I wish I had known this before I had them do work on my other vehicle because who knows how much of my money they tricked me out of.

I had a wonderful experience at Clair and Dee's today. Dallon is super helpful, patient and honest. He really cares about the customers and their needs. I went in there because I was told the light bulb didnt work on a headlight, that it was an electrical problem. Long story short, the original place that told me this was incorrect. Dallon saw and understood what happened and didn't charge me for a diagnostic test that was done at Claire &Dee's. The car didnt need one. We had misinformation. I really appreciate Dallon and the mechanic that helped me today. 5 Stars definitely!

I really like being able to talk directly to the mechanic when I drop my car off for work to be done, rather than going through the front desk staff who just take notes. I appreciate getting feedback straight from the person actually working on my car. I’ve had both good and bad experiences here, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. Make sure you get to know the person that works on your car and request them by name.
