I just had another experience like that while trying to order an SUV to go to a concert. I hope upper management actually starts taking complaints and customer requests seriously, because at this point, you'll never get what youre actually paying for (speaking from attempted experience since 2022)

Mostly during the Idaho legislative session when I rent vehicles to travel back and forth to the Idaho capitol. There have been a number of new folks that have come and gone but they always are friendly and helpful. There have been a few times where the vehicles I rented weren't up to par or had issues and each time that has happened, the managers have always made sure that I was taken care of and they did everything in their power to make it right. Renting cars isn't exactly cheap, but the cars are always clean and even in the face of dealing with some really irate customers, they stay calm and respectful.
