The employees here definitely work hard, and make my late night trips an absolute blast everytime I go. They deserve a bigger store, give these guys an upgraded Maverick already.

Maverick is a great place to stop and get snacks and food for your next adventure, but I think this Emmett location is needing an upgrade to a bigger maverick. This town has outgrown the size for the store almost every morning. I go in there to get breakfast to start my day. There’s usually not anything left besides biscuits and gravy and that’s kinda hard to eat in your car breakfast burritos breakfast sandwiches are much more efficient to eat on the go and because so many people stopped there in the morning there’s never anything left after like 20 minutes after stuff being brought out. There’s only one person that makes food. The kitchen is really small. It might be time to looking at Maverick corporation upgrading this store to a bigger store. Almost every time I go into this Maverick, there’s usually only cold sandwiches to eat. There’s not really much of a selection for the hot items and that’s between breakfast and lunchtime. Everything‘s goes way too fast because there’s too many people in this town so maybe it should be time to looking at getting a bit bigger location, built and a little bit more staff to accommodate for the mass growing of Emmett, Idaho. I like shopping at Maverick but pretty much anymore. I just wait to get into Meridian or Boise and stop at Maverick because I can usually get breakfast to start my day at the bigger locations and this Emmett location sometimes is really hard to find a place to park so I don’t even stop there because this spot does not have a lot of parking and if somebody pulls in there with a camp trailer or even a semi truck pulls in there there’s pretty much nowhere to park so it really is time for this location to get upgraded. This isn’t a complaint. It’s more of a suggestion for the mass growing of this town that this store is way too small for the size of this town that’s growing and even other small towns around Emmett have the bigger Mavericks to sustain the mass growing of their small towns, turning into bigger towns.

the two old ladies here are incredibly clueless on the laws on ID’s. Please please PLEASE train these grown women to at least LOOK at an ID. My ID is valid, I just recently turned 21 since it’s vertical. I understand if I was underage or it was expired, but this was two adult women who didn’t even look and told me I couldn’t buy anything. These were OLD women that didn’t understand how license work, literal tax-paying adults. From what I know a lot of places have the ability to scan as well? I understand they can refuse me service but it was just scary knowing that two adult women, who are old enough to be grandma do not understand the laws. When I tried explaining they just told me “no” like a child. I am 21 and wanted to celebrate my newfound freedom and it was delayed since I had to go to a gas station that actually used their eyes. These ADULTS who couldn’t spend 2 seconds to scan my ID . Literally they both looked at it. A total age of like 150 told me it was invalid. They’ve both been alive much longer than me they should know basic laws. Please just train your employees. I understand saying no is better than saying yes, but if they do not understand how to check a valid ID they shouldn’t not be behind the counter.
