I needed a windshield replacement due to several running cracks from rock chips caused from other vehicles/diesel trucks traveling in road work areas on many roads and freeways in our area. The appointment was easy to make, and the replacement was done quicker than anticipated. Safelite was listed on my insurance coverage for window replacement, along with a free 2nd set of windshield wiper replacement within 6 months, with the purchase of the first set. I saved $800+ with my windshield replacement plan and Safelite services. The gentleman that was working the front desk also recommended adding rainguard to the windshield replacement, which was an extra cost and not covered by my plan, but not expensive, and worth the price. I was EXTREMELY HAPPY I listened. A rain/snow storm hit that night, lasting a few days. I was able to drive home from work at night with none of the headlight glaring I have had to endure for several years on the old windshield. If I would have known about rainguard, I would of went to Safelite years ago to add the rainguard to my old windshield. For the customers who have children, the location was just across the street from a bounce house fun center. I was able to wait my hour at the fun center watching my grandchild waste all of their energy just in time for naptime.
