I call the CDA shop# and I was re-directed to a national answering service automatically, then I had to endure an automated system that asked me the same question 3 times all the while it's pushing online service vs. the call. Then finally someone (real person) picks up, and I could barely understand him (Indian accent). I said I was calling for a quote on a windshield, I gave the year, make, and model. The guy started asking for the vehicle plate # and other personal info, I cut him off and asked, what's that got to do with a quote or estimate when I've already given year, make,and model, that's all that's needed for a quote. What ever happened to customer service with the personal touch where when you called the place you dialed your call actually went there, and a real person answers and gives you the info. you called for. Not someone automatically trying to get personal info trying to get into your back pocket, Really let's me know Safelite doesn't want my business. Thanks for adding to the non customer service in this nation, it shows how much you care (Heavy Sarcasm implied).

If you need glass repair/replacement and you wish to have your local shop do the work, Safelite will dictate what that shop can charge your insurance company. If the shop doesn't feel it is profitable, they can refuse the service. Then, you either drive to a shop that WILL accept Safelite's terms, use Safelite or don't have the glass replaced. Complete conflict of interest. Safelite sucks!
