I went in to get an oil change and they forced my key into the ignition causing damage that wouldn’t allow the key to turn. The dealership that fixed the ignition confirmed this later. None of the techs knew what to do so I had to figure out how to get my car to a dealership to be repaired. The bill to fix the ignition was over $500. I contacted the owner of this store and he told me he would not help me. He said my car was too old, however I had the ignition rebuilt recently so the cars age was not reflective of the ignition. The new ignition had been working great since being rebuilt. I told the owner I would contact Jiffy lube corporate about this issue. He told me they would make him call me but he still wouldn’t have to do anything for me. Allowing independent store owners to make decisions like this is a big customer service deficiency. Jiffy Lube has gladly taken my business for 10+ years, but they will lose my business now. I told the owner this and he couldn’t care less. I’m sure if you have used Jiffy Lube lately you have seen the same lack of quality service that I have noticed. That should have a been a red flag for me to quit going there. Save yourself some trouble and take your care elsewhere for service!
