  OUTSTANDING employees the whole way thru here!! Bravo!! From the gal who handed me my keys to the guy I handed them back to!! Five star service!!! And a beautiful car!!! Nothing could have been better guys! Great value too!! Win win win!!!

  Just called to ask what the process was for picking up after hours. The individual I spoke to was confused I was even asking the question (the reservation clearly states to call if arriving after hours). The conclusion was if they are closed you can come pick it up at 5 AM. I then asked if I could reserve a pickup truck and I was told I could ask upon arrival. I book exclusively with National with Executive Elite status. Time to find a new rental company.

  Cars are clean, good, but getting a printed ticket is painful at car drop-off location, due you have to walk inside airport office to get it. sometimes you can get it but depends on who is working at drop-off place. This should be a standard.

  Louie at National Boise Airport saved us! When our flight was delayed, everyone at Hertz left us stranded. Not only was there no one there at the counter but Hertz's corporate 800 number also is NOT 24 hours (which is unbelievable! AND it's an off shore call center when they are open). Being a number one club gold member with Hertz also means nothing, as there was no car waiting for me with my name on it as I am supposed to just skip the counter. Louie was there checking in some of the other customers he had on the same flight that was delayed. After seeing I have no way to reach anybody at Hertz I approached Louie if he could help me with a car and he went above and way beyond! I provided him a printout of my reservation from Hertz and he actually beat their price. Additionally Louie gave me a wide choice of far superior upgraded SUVs to choose from. My car was nearly new, totally clean, and fully optioned, full tank of gas ready to go. The whole process took no more than 10 minutes. I was so happy with how they were able to help my family in the middle of the night I made sure to call the branch manager to thank them for what they did for us. I will never rent from Hertz rental car ever again It will be National from now on!
