Called them today they said that no it was unreparable and that we'd have to get a new windshield. When my pops tried to ask question she started talking while he was still asking the questions and when he asked her to stop she claimed he was "yelling" having work 3+ years in construction my pops was by no means yelling. Would not recommend this location. They will do the classic bait and switch technique

An aftermarket option was available for $1084.84. I set up appointment and dropped it off a few days later. About 20 minutes after drop off I received a call from Safelite. He stated that history shows the car’s heads up display was blurry with the aftermarket windshield. After a nicely detailed discussion, he recommended the original windshield which he said would be an additional $600. I authorized the change and was told I would be contacted when the new windshield arrived. Picked up the car. Five days later I received an email from their “pending parts” department in Colorado asking me to authorize purchase of new windshield but this time the quoted price was $2241.47. I called the Colorado location the next day to ask about the price. I explained that I was told only $600 above the original $1084.84 and how did that go up an additional $556.63. I was told it would be investigated and would contact me the next day. After hearing nothing back for 8 days, I called them again - but still no resolution. They finally called me back yesterday and said $2241.47 was the price and would I authorize the purchase. I said NO! I understand folks make mistakes but it took a long time for this to play out and they made zero effort to make any considerations to make this right. I will not go back to Safelite!
