- DHDonald HrdlickaOct 31, 20252.0I work in the neighborhood, I come to this Maverik literally every day. Usually in the morning. All I can say is if you are visiting this extremely busy store in the morning hours and you see a guy named Tristen at the register, USE SELF CHECKOUT. He’s a perfectly nice guy but he is completely incapable of doing the simplest transactions. I was trying to cash in my points (nitro card holder btw) for a gift card this morning. Dude couldn’t figure out how to load a Maverik gift card. I guarantee I could do it myself but they don’t allow it at self checkout. So he’s fumbling around for like 5-7 minutes and won’t call help up and can’t figure it out. Then he tells me to move out of line so he can help other customers. Mind you, I waited my turn in line to do this transaction. That’s not how it works man. I’d rather walk out empty handed than ever have to deal with that guy again. Maverik, do something about Tristen. I’m not the only reviewer on here complaining about him either.

Then he had the nerve to tell me that he "wasn't going to argue with me". Lol. I was not arguing with him. Just tried to explain what I needed done. He was just rude. They should really put him in the back where he doesnt have to be around customers. Idk what happened. This Maverick used to be pretty awesome. Now, I'm only going to go there if I have no other option. Extremely disappointed
