Thier machine messed my truck up ,I took it to a mechanic intoxolock said I had my truck illegally worked on , they gave me a faulty machine and I got violated while I was asleep in ny house, I got violated while I was out if town , but the bad part is some vehicles like min3 actually go into your truck computer, and damage your transmission, and it can throw your vehicle into misfire and saftey modes. It was a nightmare dealing with the faulty machine but when it started doing damage ti my vehicle i had them take it out. And when you take it out they threaten you and tell you its illegal for you to take it out and they are gonna tell the dmv. The state of idaho and your probation that you are taking it out . Its not illegal to take it out as they claim its illegal to drive without a breathalyzer but there is no law that says it has to be their horrible company, if I could post a video I would if the real time damage to my truck when their machine doesnt work , it is wild that their machine can actually damage your transmission and disable your abs !!!! The damage only occurs during a violation but when their machine is faulty it will violate you every day !!! Go with anyone else save your vehicle!!!! I showed their technician the stuff it was doing ti my vehicle the technician is the 1 who told me to take it out so it doesnt damage my vehicle farther . The technicians are subbed so they arent evil money grabbers they are real people , but the company itself uses out of country customer service, once you sign up you will never talk to an American again ,they are extremely rude its actually like listening to a prank call but its actually people stealing money from you. I have videos up of the real time damage it will do to your truck . Dont use this company!!!

Stopped by Heritage Hardwood Floors today which is actually located at this address - 9335 W State Street, looks like they will be having their grand opening any day now, I'm excited to check out their inventory.
Edit: Thanks for the response, but I'm not looking to use your service, I was just curious why the building is listed as your service center on Google and your website when this location is actually the new home of Heritage Hardwood Floors.
Edit: I'm not in need of your products, rather my point is shouldn't you update your location on Google and your website so folks aren't going to 9335 W State Street looking for your services and finding Heritage Hardwood Floors instead? It's kind of misleading isn't it?
Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.
Where do I get an ignition interlock device?
Ignition interlock devices can be installed at certified service centers nationwide. Intoxalock offers a convenient network of locations and helps you schedule an installation appointment near you. Visit our Intoxalock locations page or call us to find the nearest service center and begin the installation process.
How long will my installation take?
Installing an ignition interlock device typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on your vehicle type. Certified technicians ensure the device is properly installed and provide you with training on how to use it. Contact Intoxalock for an appointment and an accurate time estimate for your installation.
What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event. Depending on your state’s regulations, multiple failed tests may trigger additional penalties, such as lockouts or reporting to your monitoring authority. Intoxalock devices allow you to retest after a short wait if alcohol is no longer detected. Always follow your state’s guidelines to remain compliant.
Can I install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle I don’t own?
Yes, in most cases, you can install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle you regularly drive, even if you’re not the registered owner. However, the vehicle owner must provide consent for the installation. Intoxalock works with you and the owner to ensure compliance with state regulations and the successful setup of the device.
What should I do if my ignition interlock device locks me out?
If your ignition interlock device locks you out, it’s usually due to missed tests, failed tests, or state-specific requirements. Intoxalock offers a simple lockout override process in most cases to help you get back on the road quickly. Contact Intoxalock customer support for assistance and to understand the steps needed to resolve the issue.
