  A few months ago I tried to get fuel at the pump but it gave me a message to go inside. After paying inside with my debit card I was shocked that they charged my card all most 200.00 when my fuel was only around 37.00. When I called and talked to the manager he was very nice in explaining that it was my bank card that did that as they randomly do. I excepted that and my money was given back. Again tonight I went to get fuel and the pump wanted me to go inside No thanks. I am not falling for this twice. I have never had my card hold my funds like it did and I wasn’t going to give Mavrick a chance to do it to me again. I feel like they want to get people to go inside in hopes you will spend more money. No, I just will no longer get fuel there as I drove away tonight.

  Usually the staff is friendly and the store is well somewhat clean, well this morning I went in and got some breakfast and there were no forks so I asked the cook in the back if she happened to have some and she told me “what’s over there is what you get”. I told her “there are only spoons over there”. Instead of her responding she just walked away from me. I then proceeded to the register with my spoon and gravy sausage biscuit bowl, I asked the cashier for a can of chew and put my ID on the counter for when she needed it. She grabs the chew, turns around and says “I need your ID” I just smiled and pointed at the ID on the counter. I guess she didn’t want to look down cuz she repeats herself “I NEED to see your ID” so at this point I’m a little annoyed with the workers attitude and say “yea, it’s right there on the counter if you looked down where I pointed”. Over all don’t go to maverick in the morning your just an inconvenience for them.
