Went in later at night. There was a heavy set woman standing there and pretending to clean the soda fountains and watching me. I've worked enough retail to know that she was trying to prevent theft, but I'm a multi year customer, rewards member, and former employee and have never stolen. It made me feel extremely judged and prevented me from getting the fountain drink I'd actually wanted. Things like this make me wish there were other options at night but I honestly might just start waiting until other stores open, the higher prices and less selection were already bad but the actions of the employee might be the last straw.

On Thursday, September 4th around 7:50 PM, I witnessed an amazing act of teamwork at this store. One cashier was left working the register alone, and the line had gotten very long. She was clearly stressed, and another employee named Brett—who was actually in the store as a customer at the time—noticed what was happening.
Without hesitation, he asked if she was by herself, and when she said yes, he immediately stepped in, logged in, and started helping her clear the line even though he wasn’t required to.
That kind of initiative and teamwork is rare, and it really stood out to me. It not only helped the cashier and the other customers, but it also left a very positive impression on me as a customer

I stopped by this store last week. The pumps were closed but the store was open. Upon entering I was confronted by an employee who asked me If I was an K&G employee, I said no, and then he said and I quote " Then you have to leave". Just that no explanation. I was totallly shocked by his rudeness. I later found that the store was being switched to a Maverik. Regardless I'm very reluctant to return there.
