As 2500 frequency is wasteful I said no, I change around 6000. He asked if that was my preference and I confirmed it. He said he would “make a note” on my account “in case anything happens”. I guess suggesting I would destroy my engine (already at 150k mi) if I persist in 6000 frequency. It’s weird being (attempted) guilted by attendant for going beyond 2500 mi between changes. Will go elsewhere in future to avoid rudeness. For anyone reading, we waste way too much still good oil at 2500 frequency. Modern engines just don’t need as frequent changes. And at $75 a pop I’m not wasting money either.
