  Idk who the older bold guy that works there thinks he is but ill tell you rightnow there is not much going on between his ears. Rude is an understatement. That guy shouldn't be working anywhere that with the attitude he has. Needless to say they will not be getting any of my business ever. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to shop there. If you hate helping customers then don't work a customer service job.

  Jeff and Terry were great about helping me with my flat tire. I had just left my house when I noticed it was flat, not only did they help me find the tools to fix it, but Jeff also helped me change it out as well. They are extremely nice and helpful there!

  My wife went in and bought windshield wiper blades just before Christmas time, and they installed them for her while she was there. Today it snowed and when she went to use her windshield wiper blades one of them flew right off the end and into the road where it was promptly destroyed. I took the broken wiper blades back into the store to explain the situation, and the individual running the store was very unhelpful and rude. He refused to acknowledge that the wiper blade was installed incorrectly and also said he couldn’t look up my wife’s purchase to see when it was made even though she had purchased under my AutoZone account. I had to look through emails on my phone to find it, and his final comment was that he couldn’t believe we hadn’t had the problem for the last 3 months since the purchase. How often does it rain in the winter and we have had almost no snow this winter… just rude and unwilling to take any accountability for the poor service. We will not be going back.

  I actually witnessed an employee start an altercation with a customer, and I had an employee tell me that they couldn't help me order a part and just walk away from the register. When I did order the part I paid extra for expedited shipping but the part didn't come until the time that they said it would without the expedited shipping. They refused to refund me what I paid for the faster shipping.

  There is a strong need for another AutoZone store to be built in or around the Waukee area. I visited the store today around 2:45 PM and there was only one manager working by himself. He handled the situation extremely well and did his best to help every customer. He multitasked effectively and remained professional throughout. However, this store is simply too busy for one person to manage alone. At one point there were about 15 customers in the store, and more kept coming in. Despite this, the manager still took the time to verify all the parts with each customer before checking them out. AutoZone, please do better by providing additional staff or consider building another store in the area to better support both your employees and customers.
