The place is very nice, but the person serving the food was terrible. He didn't give us any options. We wanted to eat there, but the guy who served us definitely put us off.

I like parking here when I can I wish they had better food? But it's still a nice place to park.

Diesel #2 is a low sulfur type of diesel fuel that can contain up to 5% biodiesel. The diesel pumps at this gas station have conflicting information: they state it is diesel #2 and in smaller print says "can contain between 5% and 20% biodiesel" which is not what diesel #2 is supposed to be. Biodiesel is more prone to gelling in cold temperatures. Therefore, this gas station can cause damage to these diesel engines and therefore is very misleading to be referring to two different fuel types as one. We did not fuel up here as a precaution.

I like it although their payment screen is a little confusing at first. Nice variety if foods. Clean restrooms most of the time.

I love Kum and Go and was devastated to hear about the Maverick corporate purchase. I still support the store, but am less enthusiastic about the Mavrick branded gear. On my drive across country I am stopping at every Kum and Go I can to cherish and enjoy the atmosphere of good cheap coffee, massive slurpees, and excellent food. AND of course the wonderfu Kum and Gol branded gear. I stopped by this Kum and Go after a sad defeat when I realized most of the stores would not have any branded items I did not already own (as corporate isn't supplying as much anymore). To my happy surprise, the employees were equally emotional about the end of the Kum and Go Era and helped me locate any available merchandise left in the store - they even went into the back to see if they had anything of their own they could share. Of course the store was clean, the food was good, the gas was cheap and the pumps worked well, but ultimately, the customer service was top notch. If corporate is reading this, please give a shoutout (and maybe a raise) to your store employees because I have never met anyone at a Kum and Go - or Maverick - as nice and helpful. Kum and Go in Walnut, Iowa, thank you!
