  Definitely a place of interest. If you’re simply needing a break from driving or need fuel and truck accessories you need to stop in. Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen all under one roof! Plus their own buffet restaurant. Nearby is the Trucking museum. We didn’t have the time to go through that, but it is free and they accept donations.

  The night shift at the TA is amazing! At 2am I had total trailer marker light failure. I tried to diagnose it myself with no luck. Once at the shop, Dustin was awesome! Very professional, honestly it wasn't something common. Not only did he find the problem, he also find an additional smaller problem at the rear of the trailer. I was expecting hours wait, and a crazy bill, totally wasn't the case. He had me all fixed up quick and a very fair bill. Highly recommend!

  Had a bit of an issue buying gas as we had to go to 3 different pumps to get the machine to take our card. Gas is SO much cheaper that it was worth the effort. Super clean, huge store with everything you could ever want. Bathrooms are very clean. Not quite as big as Buckees, but in my opinion that is a good thing!

  By far the best place I’ve ever been to been here before decided to make another visit. They’re building a Starbucks here now, so in April of 2026 there will be a Starbucks not much for stickers wise. I was looking for bumper, stickers or stickers to begin with and they’re quite literally nothing prices are extremely expensive for example five dollars for a regular size can of Pringles. Don’t bother going to Wendy’s after nighttime or you’re going to get stuck with chicken or chicken tenders that have been left out all day and taste horrible at least in my experience, parking lot has plenty of spots to sleep in definitely will be back again

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Iron Stars — Iowa 80 Truckstop The best truck stop in the world, and I truly mean that. 5 Iron Stars, and if I could give 100 stars, I absolutely would. Located in Walcott, Iowa 80 isn’t just a truck stop… it’s an institution. Every time I pull in, it feels like stepping into a trucker’s paradise. Everything is massive. The parking lot is huge. The facilities are clean. The atmosphere is alive. You can find literally everything there — restaurants, fast food, barber shop, dentist, movie theater, arcade, truck accessories, clothing, souvenirs, coffee, clean showers, and even a trucking museum. It’s basically a small city built for truckers. The showers are well maintained. The staff is professional. The store selection is impressive. Despite how busy it gets, everything runs smoothly. But more than the services, it’s the energy of the place that makes it special. You can feel the respect for truckers. You can tell it was built with drivers in mind. Honestly, it’s my favorite stop on the road. If I can plan my route to pass through there, I will. It’s the kind of place that recharges you after long hours behind the wheel. For me, it’s simple: Iowa 80 = 5 Iron Stars minimum. The best. Period. 🚛🔥
