  Absolutely fantastic place to do business with. I call them the gold standard for service. From the first phone call to them to receiving the keys back after the service was performed. I will 125% recommend.

  Had BlackVue Elite 10 Dual 4K &HDR system installed into my wife’s 2017 Volvo XC90 T6 R-Design. They did an amazing job very professional dropped it off at 9:00AM and it was done by 4:30 as stated before the appointment. The finished product is flawless can even tell they were in my vehicle and the system is hands down amazing thank you Tintworld you made my wife’s 30th birthday amazing. Will be returning for future business in the future.

  Really liked working with Tint World and appreciated how helpful and knowledgeable they are with window tinting. I also appreciate the sweet coupon they found for me and the Veteran discount also. They even stored my car inside overnight which I am thankful for. My little GR-86 looks super clean and sweet with the window tinting they did! I’ll be recommending them to anyone that’s asks about the car. Very helpful people and I know I will be back for other work down the road!

  I am always happy with the service I receive at Tint World Urbandale. Jennifer and Caleb are amazing with the attention to customer service up front and Matthew is quite knowledgeable with the audio. He takes the time to explain how your system works and my install is always done right the first time. Initially I wanted the “Tesla Style” screen replacement for my Q50, but after a conversation with Matt and my desire for reliability over cosmetics, I went with the ZZ2 Apple CarPlay interface instead and it works like a charm! There’s not enough of a lag time issue for me to complain about and I’m quite happy with my new system! I also got my windows tinted here 4 years and it still looks great! I highly recommend Tint World for all of your audio and tint solutions!

  I had a mixed experience with Tint World and unfortunately cannot strongly recommend them based on how this was handled. I initially called on March 26th and spoke with Caleb regarding removal of PPF on our newly purchased BMW X5M. I explained that I had already removed the sides myself, but the hood and roof were not coming off easily. Caleb explained they specialize in PPF and quoted $100/hour, with full vehicles typically taking around 10 hours. He suggested bringing the vehicle in for an exact price but that it would be significantly less time. I came in the same morning, and both Caleb and their PPF technician reviewed the vehicle with me. I was quoted $699 total (2 hours labor plus cut/buff). I also asked about an interior detail and was quoted an additional $250, which I agreed to. I paid a $50 deposit and scheduled for Monday, March 30th, as they didn’t have any earlier availability. We dropped the vehicle off at 8am Monday and were told it would likely be completed that afternoon. At 4:31pm, we were texted and notified it would not be finished and asked if we could leave it overnight. We agreed. The next day (today) at 3:16pm, we were texted and told the vehicle was ready. However, upon arrival, I was informed there would be an additional $150 in labor, partially offset by a $50 discount on the detail—resulting in an extra $100 charge. This was confusing and frustrating. The entire reason I brought the vehicle in ahead of time was to get an exact price, as they specifically said they could not quote it over the phone. There was no discussion or agreement that the price could change after that in-person assessment. After having the vehicle for two days, I did not feel I had much of a choice and paid the additional amount. I will say they did a great job on the exterior. The total came out to nearly $1,200 with tax—and I still have not received an itemized receipt. To make matters worse, after leaving, my husband immediately noticed the interior had not been detailed at all. I called Caleb right away, and he apologized and said he was unaware since he didn’t bring the vehicle around. He offered to redo the detail or provide a refund. Given the distance, we opted for a refund and will use our usual detail provider. To their credit, everyone we interacted with was polite and professional, and they did a good job on the PPF removal. However, the overall process lacked transparency, communication, and follow-through. Between the unexpected price increase, incomplete service, and lack of documentation, the experience fell well short of expectations—especially given the positive reviews we had read beforehand.
