- AMAlex MeyerJul 4, 20251.0Long term Enterprise rent a car customer, first time truck renter and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. If you’re in need of a truck for personal use and a corporate account needs that vehicle type, you’ll be kicked to the curb. I needed a transit van from 7/5/25-7/7/25. I received a call on Thursday 7/3 from a rep at the branch asking me very specific questions like when I plan on bringing the van back, what it was being used for, etc. I told the guy that the van would be returned before their end of business on Monday July 7th before 5pm. The questions were a set up to tell me the bad news. He said that was the issue, a corporate account needed the van early Monday morning. He wanted to “let me know” so I wasn’t “surprised” on Saturday 7/5 during the pick up. I was then offered a pick up truck that I had no use for. Then offered a 15ft box truck which was more vehicle than I needed to complete the tasks. Sure they were willing to work with me on the rate and time, but unfortunately this inconvenience costed me not only time and money on the day of the call 7/3 but also time, money over the weekend. I decided to cancel the reservation and take my business elsewhere. I will not consider this branch for any truck rentals and will be re-considering using Enterprise rent a car for general renting in the future. Edit- On 7/8, this location had 3 transit vans. One for Van in particular had been sitting there since Saturday evening. I wonder why I was denied a van when it had been sitting there the whole time?
