  We had an extremely frustrating experience with this dealership from start to finish. We found a truck advertised on Facebook and made the trip to see it in person, fully prepared to purchase it at the listed price. Once we arrived and showed serious interest, we were told the price was “posted wrong” by one of their dealers and that they suddenly needed more money because there was a lot of interest. We walked away. Two weeks later, we noticed the price had been raised and then dropped back down. My husband reached out again, and this time they finally agreed to sell it at the lower price. We were excited and moved forward. We immediately contacted our bank, got approved, and informed the dealership we would be coming with a check and cash for down payment. We also sent proof of approval from the bank. Despite clearly telling them—multiple times—that we were already approved and did not want our credit pulled again, they ignored us and ran our credit anyway to approve us through their financing. As a result, my credit was pulled multiple times for absolutely no reason. The lack of communication, listening, and basic respect for customers is unacceptable. This was by far the worst vehicle-buying experience we’ve had. While we’re glad we finally got the truck we had been searching for, we would never recommend this dealership to anyone based on how poorly this situation was handled. Even after we got there and we were asking questions and had expressed our frustrations we were rudely asked, “well, do you want it or not” and in a very snotty voice told “the price is the price.” By Terri German. To “make it right” they put less than a half tank of diesel in it and sent us on our way. I would not suggest anyone to come here and we definitely won’t again in the future.

  Vaughn Automotive responded to my email inquiries very quickly. They behaved as though they really wanted my business without giving me the runaround. I was able to set up a purchase agreement via email and eventually on the phone before I drove the long distance to the dealership's location. They had the vehicle that I was interested in ready and accepted my trade-in as prearranged. The purchase went smoothly without taking a lot of time. I worked with the salesperson, Tina Fane. She is responsive and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this dealership.
