- DLDanny longMar 14, 20261.0I scheduled the vehicle 8 days in advance. I was supposed to be picked up , no one did . The body shop manager had to drive me to enterprise because no one was answering the phones when I was left stranded. Once at enterprise the lady was extremely rude saying I just booked it today and that I needed to give more notice. Untrue. Then states that I have to pay the difference since its a truck and insurance wont pay for it , so i showed her the confirmation that Progressive approved a truck. Which i made clear over the phone 8 days ago when I scheduled the "we pick you up" She then pulls up this truck that was wrecked and damaged literally all the way around on every side , It smelled like Marijuana so bad ,it was misfiring and sputtering , never been washed or vacuumed , candy wrappers in the cup holder. I felt as if I was being pranked! This thing seemed like it just got back from a high speed police chase drug bust! I said absolutely not driving this thing. So she made some calls and said I had to drive it to the airport location to switch for something else. Upon arrival there 4 fully capable employees just hanging out on their phones. Which I'm like why didn't they just pick me up or them come do the swap!?!? Why was i the customer responsible for enterprise errors? Anyways they wanted me to swipe my card again, which i already did at the last location, I refused. And finally was able to get a decent vehicle and what you would normally expect out of a rental car agency. Literally a 3 hour ordeal just to get a normal vehicle. This experience was beyond bizarre and totally unprofessional
