  I was happy with the initial interaction but the last wash I got was terrible, it was very streaky and didn't get dry so streaks got worse as I drove away. I was going to give it another chance but turned out the 30 day free trial is not actually 30 days when you do it in February and they would not honor the 30 days.

  When I lived in Urbandale I had always had a Mister Carwash membership but after moving to Grimes, Tommy's on 1st St was a lot more convenient and they offered a one month free trial! Since making the switch, I really appreciate the longer hours and they don't just close up because it's a rainy day! Early on, my rear wiper blade must have been loose and got knocked off(probably needed replaced anyway).. I didn't even notice for a day or two but they must have right away because from that visit on they almost always come out and wrap my rear wiper with a plastic cover! I would recommend to anyone who likes to keep their vehicle clean. The membership more than pays for itself if you use it at least once a week(I go 2-3 times a week myself)! You don't even have to meet with anyone before you start. No annoying window sticker. You just download the app, put in your vehicle and payment(no charge until after your free month) information, and your ready to go!

  Leaned on really hard by some dude talking at 100 mph after making me wait for 8 minutes to sign up for the app that automatically tries to sign you up for a recurring monthly fee. 2 stars because my car is clean but pushy business model.
