Their “Damage Recovery Unit” for Des Moines decided that it was fine to screw me with someone else’s issue after doing business with me for 30 years after all. Beware of this location. —————/ Beware of their Des Moines location. I am an Executive level with them and have been renting for years (Exec Emerald aisle and all which they incidentally don’t have in Des Moines). Last time there, they stuck me with a $2,600 repair bill because I failed to notice a small front bumper gap around front light when picking the car up at midnight. They have been doing very unusually aggressive incoming inspection in Des Moines for about 4 months and now I understand why - there must be a revenue issue there they are trying to fix. As I really don’t appreciate dishonesty in business and have similar level of privileges with other car agencies, would suggest you just rent from someone else when in Des Moines.

I have experienced 2 15m waits in 2025 out of 4 visits. [following added post-reply] Thank you for reply - this was my experience - twice - I am almost 20 year return client who has rented all over USA and abroad. Folks in DMO deserve same level of service given throughout National Car’s system, not less. Just make it happen, no excuses or excuse-me’s. Thank you.
