After they serviced our brakes, my daughter and I drove out of town with only one lug nut holding a tire on. When we went back, we were told the nuts “just came loose” because of the tire size. We’ve had our truck for 10 years and have always used the same tire size, so that excuse made no sense. Months later, we discovered there was no lug nut key, and when we asked for help, we were met with sarcasm and zero responsibility from the guys in the back office. Dan was the only one who showed compassion and even called a place for us, but it sent us on a wild goose chase for a key. I understand that the guys there can be rough and rude with each other, but your customers aren’t always going to be ready to go head-to-head with you. Dan should not be the only exception when it comes to good customer service. It’s unfortunate that someone decent works under such dismissive management. We even emailed a formal complaint and never received a response. If you need service, skip Edgewood and go to the Brakes Plus on Blairs Ferry! Zoe and that team actually care.

They are honest, never try to upsell, and always explain what’s going on, the options, and the severity — no pushiness at all. I bought a car and took it to them to get a sign-off, and they not only did that but also fixed a few things and gave me a thoughtful list of things to watch for in the future. After 25 years of struggling to find a good mechanic, it’s amazing to finally find one that treats people like they’re at your dinner table. A true breath of fresh air — thanks for your excellent service!
