  Brought my car in for an oil change and alignment, Robdog and Dan the man did amazing work on telling me what was going down with my vehicle, I dont have enough to get it all done in one go but Dan numbered it out to what I should do first to last while Rob explained it from safety to whats just making noise definitely will be getting my services done here when I get my taxes 100% these guys are the best

  I got on line and scheduled a front end alignment using their open schedule. I showed up on time for appointment. Checked in fine. Guy said it would be awhile as they had a vehicle on the machine. I left at 9 am and returned at 11:37. I walked in and sat down. No one acknowledged me so I waited 15 more minutes. Approached the counter and the manager asked what I needed. Said I wanted to check on the status of my truck. He went into the shop. Three guys had a pow wow as I watched one of them take my keys and hit the door alarm so he could locate my truck. He walked over to start it as another person came to me saying he didn't know how the additional cars got in front of me for service but they would start on it now. No. I will take it elsewhere. He offered me a $20 discount for my 2 hours and 45 minutes of wasted time. I told them that people can tolerate a lot when you communicate with them what's going on. But to be without any conversation for almost 3 hours and then learn they had forgotten about me!!! Regardless of if you do business with them, I will not. This is poor management and poor customer service. It's your money, spend it elsewhere where they will communicate and do proper by you. While sitting in the store we overheard the manager coaching an employee on how to upsell and how to close deals. May I suggest you start with the basics of service before you worry about plus selling!

  Rob & Dan did not disappoint. The shop brakes plus replaced was my go to. I miss their customer service, hospitality and mechanic expertise. Dan & The Kid provided this in addition to empathy, kindness, patience and both went above and beyond to service my vehicle. They are gentlemen and for all of this I am a loyal customer and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you 🙏🏾

  Check engine light had come on my GMC SUV and stayed on. It also had come on closer to when my battery needed to be replaced. As a courtesy Brakes plus on Edgewood road checked my system and found it to have come on because of a prior history check. They saved me a trip to the large dealership on 16th Avenue where I would have paid $145 plus sales tax for a Diagnostic test that I did not need, but would have charged me, because they performed the service. While I was inside the waiting area there was a service technician sitting down and discussing in detail the issue that had effected a young man's need to bring his car in for servicing and I was impressed with the individual attention he gave to this customer in simple terms he could easily understand, I was impressed with this mechanic who took the time to explain. That left a lasting positive impression on me and Brakes plus.

  Let me share with you a story, a tale as old as time. Also known as the metal grind. Picture it, a beautiful 60 degree day after a blizzard warning Monday. Up early enough to grab my iced coffee and enjoy a drive to work with the windows down. Breeze blowing in the car with some tom Petty guiding my way when bam! Red light. I brake and that's when I hear it. The sounds of metal grinding against metal putting a new meaning to the idea of free falling. I book an appointment online per a customer of mines suggestion and pop in with minimal expectations on fair pricing out of a fast mechanic kind of shop Imagine my surprise when not only was the pricing reasonable but the employees I dealt with were above and beyond when it came to customer service. You could tell they were short staffed but you wouldn't have known talking to Dan or Max (I shall now be calling him Dan the man and maxi the taxi as they have earned their titles). Their attitudes were AMAZING and so personable. Dan the man touched base with me throughout the whole process and was beyond friendly, pleasant, and just a whole good vibe kinda guy but maxi the taxi swapped those rotors and pads like the only thing he was worried about was getting me back on the road. They stayed way after hours to get me back on the road for work tomorrow and never once did it appear to frustrate or fluster them....that is a rare and admirable quality. Dan the man and maxi the taxi have my business for life. That old school trust and communication is unheard of now a days. Give them both raises they have definitely earned it.
