Advisor didn’t tell me that there was a possibility that the switch wouldn’t fix the concern and that further corrections might be needed. I’m not convinced it ever needed a switch. And a $20 part cost me $315 in labor. Feels like highway robbery. Not happy at all. Update: I replaced the parking brake control module based on this shop’s diagnosis after the switch didn’t resolve my concern and guess what? It’s still not fixed. These guys can’t fix a ham sandwich. I’m now over $800 into this repair with absolutely nothing to show for it. Instead of shotgunning parts, maybe they should do actual tech work. The problem is a broken wire from the switch to the module. In reality, I never needed the switch and I sure as hell didn’t need the module. I’ve got a real shop finishing up the work. Won’t ever go back to Community though. My advice? Beware.
