Brakes Plus in Cedar Falls really helped flip the script for me today. I originally called the Brakes Plus in Waterloo and spoke with a person named Dusty. I asked him if he could give me a quote for breaks and rotors. He told me that it would be between 800-1000 dollars. He also told me there was no way to give me a baseline quote. He said I would have to bring my car in to be inspected, but didn't offer an appointment or anything. He seemed annoyed. I hung up the phone with him. My husband said to call the one in Cedar Falls, so I did. I had the pleasure of speaking with Lee. He was kind, informative and patient! He scheduled an appointment for me. After inspection, there were more problems than I realized. It was going to cost way more than I had planned for, BUT Lee and Cody worked with me on several options that fit better into my budget. I have to say that this is what true customer service and kindness is all about!! Brakes Plus in Cedar Falls now has my future business and I will let others know about them as well. Thank you!!!

I had been a Tuffys customer for years and will continue to be a customer at what is now Brakes Plus.

I went there for a wheel alignment following new tire installation. Thankfully, they inspected the other related parts and components of my vehicle to ensure they were in good condition before moving forward with my alignment, which I really appreciated. The cost and process was explained to me, in detail. No pressure to purchase any other add on services and they had me in and out, ready to hit the road within the hour. Highly recommended! I’ll be using them again next time I need something done in my vehicle….I may stop in just for a cup of hot coffee, to be honest 😉 Thanks for all your help!!
