  Service desk not very helpful. I needed a replacement co2!/propane detector and man at service desk looked on his computer and said they didn't have them. I ended up looking it up on Google to cross reference to what they had which I feel he could of did the same. My camper was purchased from Camping World in another location but felt he should of at least pretended to help

  We came from five hours away for a very specific used fifth wheel. We put a deposit on the unit to hold until weekend travel was an option being off of work. The salesman Zach that I spoke to was very helpful and cooperative all the way up to closing day. Thank you Zach for your assistance. Upon walk-through with the technician Alex, we found quite a few problems. Alex is a very talented technician, and went above and beyond, trying diligently (all very last minute) to get some pretty complicated major component issues straightened out, so we could complete the purchase same day. We have a “we owe” clause in our closing papers to complete the necessary repairs back home, and I’m fairly confident that between Camping World of Cedar Falls and Braidwood, Illinois, we should get the furnace fixed or replaced soon enough. I believe Camping World should’ve more thoroughly inspected this unit before putting a $44,000/ 2 year-old camper up for delivery with all these appliances not working: Bathroom exhaust fan and lid crank mechanism both inoperative. Furnace, not working. Hot water tankless system, broken at the inlet (leaking), needed a whole new unit. Pump for water tank clogged, needed repair. It is yet to be seen if we can get the furnace issue resolved quickly without a lot of issues between the two dealers. I remain optimistic. If you’re asking for a honest review, that’s my two cents. This unit should’ve been tested much more thoroughly before setting up a delivery date. Let’s get the last issue resolved, and I can push that rating up to five stars. I would do business with CW again. Everyone was extremely helpful and cooperative. The issue lies in the preparation of the unit. It’s not for me to assign who dropped the ball on that inspection. I think you owe it to your customers to do better in that area. Vince

  My wife and I purchased our first rv here. After being sold an RV that was improperly winterized we had to get the water heater replaced. The generator was also non functional when we received the rv. After dealing with that our first outing we set up an appointment that was replacing the water heater I left it there three full weeks. Today I get it back and after paying 160$ when j was led to believe that it would be covered and the generator is still not functioning. Thanks camping world! UPDATE: seems like my alternator is no longer connected to my cabin battery and I lost power while driving home. So not only was one of my issues unsolved but more issues have been created. If I could give zero stars I would. UPDATE 2: While in service it looks like one of my reverse charge fuses that goes to my converter was swapped with a 40 amp fuse while the circuit was 30 amp. Wondering now if I need to check every single fuse and breaker any time I service my RV here at risk of destroying my house battery.
