- ECEarl CurrieOct 25, 20251.0This is one of the most racist autozone store I've ever been too. 3 years ago I purchased brake from ther not only did they give me the wrong brakes but they tried double charging my card. On 10 -24 25 I went there to purchase a camshaft sensor for a 2016 sonata se. I told the kid what year of car and what i needed he went got it . I told him i needed the oil filter number for the car as well . He started to type in Kia i told him the correct make and model he erased it and proceeded to type Kia Sorento again I again corrected him . He told me what the oil filter was . I didnt not watch him type in the information for the camshaft sensor. I get back i go to check the camshaft to make sure they were correct he stated that he check they and that they matched i took his word for it. Went to my cousin installed it for her same issue it was late . I went home but I looked up the number in the box in my for for Kia Sorento vehicles. I took it back the next day politely explained what had happened the guy said no problem exchanged it checked it while I was stand there yes this is the right one. I them purchased a thermostat for the vehicle he said will hook you make sure you get the right thermostat. The car wasn't over heating the thermostat would stick from time to time. I get to my cousins install both of them. Go gor a test drive. The car didnt not overheat the night before when I drove it from her house to autozone. By the time 5 minutes away from her house it shot to the red i had to stop and turn the car off 4 time just to make it back to her place without ruining the engine. Told her what happened came home looked up the part number on the box I fix Cadillac, Buick and other gm vehicle . No doubt they keep giving me the wrong parts because im black. Know I have to take the thermostat put again take it back and see if I can get the correct ine for the vehicle.
