Rick at Brakes Plus did a great job of explaining all the issues and gave me quotes for the repairs. I was able to get my problems taken care of in a timely manner. Great service!
- JRJeff RobakMar 19, 20265.0Because I live a couple hours away, I was calling different repair facilities in Ankeny and Des Moines for my daughter who was told TWICE by a competitor that she needed new brakes, and that the cost estimate was $1200. When I called Brakes Plus in Ankeny, Kelsey was very helpful in explaining that they do a free brake inspection, and give an accurate quote after that. She also explained that they put out coupons online frequently for different services to try to save you money. They also resurface the rotors, if they can, instead of just automatically replacing them as many shops do. So, my daughter took her car there for a brake inspection and, as it turned out, she was told that she didn't need brakes at all! What incredible honesty and transparency! As it was, she didn't have any extra money to spend on brakes, and to find out that Brakes Plus told her the brakes were fine after a competitor was going to charge her $1200 for new brakes that she didn't need? Shame on the competitor! Thank you so much, Brakes Plus for your Five Star Service along with Five Star Honestly!!
