  Close without warning for 1, 2 up to 3 days per week very annoying for those of us who pay per month, I have tried to wash my vehicle this week and it has not been possible very bad service definitely cancel my subscription today.

  I Arrived to the wash at 8:09 am on a Tuesday morning, temp is 26° so not too overly cold, and the car wash was closed. And it's often not open late enough either to utilize it in the evenings if you work until 5/530pm. These hours are worse than a bank. **Buyer beware: you will need to use your pto to wash your car here because you cannot do it before or after work due to operating hours** Edited to add: but if you catch them when they are open, service is great and the car wash & crew are the best. Everything is airways always stocked and ready to go.

  I am submitting this complaint to report what I believe to be fraudulent and unethical business practices by Take 5 Car Wash, located in Ames, Iowa. I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Ames Regional Economic Alliance. I visited this location for a one-time car wash. Without my authorization or consent, the company enrolled me in a recurring monthly membership and began charging my credit card each month. I did not sign or verbally agree to any ongoing service or subscription. Since discovering these unauthorized charges, I have contacted Take 5 Car Wash’s customer service multiple times, at least 3 calls and 4 emails, to request cancellation and a refund. Each time, I have been told the issue will be “escalated,” but I have never received a follow-up, and the charges continue. They will tell you to call - you'll talk to someone who can't answer questions, cannot escalate to a manager and who will say they will get back to you -- they will not. It's a scam. My credit card issuer has stated that because this is a membership-based charge, they are unable to block it directly and advised that I resolve it with the business. Take 5 Car Wash is not responsive or taking any ownership. In reviewing other customer experiences online, I’ve found numerous reports describing nearly identical situations: unauthorized memberships, ongoing charges, and nonresponsive customer service. This pattern suggests a widespread issue, not an isolated incident. This needs to be taken seriously to prevent further consumer harm and unethical business practices. DO NOT use or support this business.

  Total scam of a car wash. I also got signed up for their membership against my wishes. I’ve been trying for a month and a half to get them to cancel the membership with no luck. Ended up submitting a complaint to the better business bureau and will likely end up disputing the charges with my bank since this business shows absolutely zero desire to actually fix their “mistakes”.
