  I am very impressed with the service I received at Gerber Collision Waipahu. They were a recommended partner shop for my insurance, and they truly came to the rescue after someone hit my 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE while it was parked. I'm usually wary of the estimate process--I always worry a shop will underestimate damage with a 'we can just buff that out' attitude. However, Asialee was fantastic and performed a thorough evaluation of my Accord, correctly deciding that the rear bumper needed a full replacement. The timeline was incredible: Friday (2/20): Estimate Wednesday (2/25): Drop-off for repair Friday (2/27): Repair complete! I've never had such a quick turnaround from a repair shop. They took excellent care of my vehicle, even giving it a quick wash (poor thing suffers from landlord-induced water spots), and got it back to me in less than five days. That is amazing. Special shout-out to Nick and the front desk team for guiding me during my first visit. Also, a huge thank you to the tech who started processing my vehicle on the day of the drop off (didn't get his name, but he had a very cool, quiet vibe)--credit must be given to the guys in the back who put in the labor. Trust that you are visible to us customers! The Gerber Waipahu team is professional, friendly, and they treat your vehicle like it's their own. If my Honda ever needs 'emergency' TLC again, they will 100% get my business.

  I got hit on December 1st, 2025. Gerber collision wouldn’t take in my car for a week. They told me my car would be ready by the first week of January. They then told me my car wasn’t ready, and told me it would be ready by the end of January. So, by this point, they have had my car for almost TWO MONTHS. They send email updates, letting you know that your car is on track and will be done on time. They then send an email saying my car will take TWO MORE WEEKS until it’s finished, two days before it was supposed to be done. Mind you, I have a family of six. We have to pay for a rental this entire time. I call and ask to move us up in their queue since they’ve basically been lying to us this entire time and taking forever to fix my car. If I could give zero stars, I would. Having somebody’s car for 2.5 months, and it wasn’t even that badly damaged is insanely ridiculous. Please save yourself and go somewhere else for your car. I pray to God it’s at least fixed properly by the time I receive my car back. Since I’ve been waiting entirely too long for it to be finished.

  I wanted to thank Mr. James Carlos and his awesome team for an outstanding job 👏 on correcting some discrepancies on some body work with my vehicle. My hats off to Ms . Maria Tolete for always helping and giving us updates on the status of our vehicle. At first I was disappointed with the repairs the first time but after everything was addressed and corrected we're very grateful and very satisfied. I highly recommend that you come and experience the awesome job Team Gerber Collision can do for you.

  We recently had the pleasure of working with Gerber Waipahu (Maria & James in particular), following damage done to our car (hit & run) while parked at Costco. Our insurance company suggested Gerber, when their 1st body shop recommendation informed them that they couldn't repair the damaged parts, and that replacement would be needed. From the beginning we felt like we were given realistic estimates for the various aspects of the repair process. When it was found that additional parts would need to be ordered, we were immediately informed of the potential for a significant delay. Fortunately, the Gerber folks found that they had the parts already in their possession, and were able to expedite our repair process. We ended up picking up our car earlier than even the first estimate, which went as smoothly as could be imagined. Everybody was polite, friendly, respectful and helpful. The repair looks great, and our car is once again back home where it should be.

  Maria and the team at Gerber Collision & Glass in Waipahu are family at this point. In the last 3 years I’ve needed 3 vehicles repaired and the already outstanding service gets better and better each time. I don’t like to make a habit out of damage to my vehicles, but the accidents seem to find me, even when I’m sitting in my parked vehicle and a speedy driver pulls in and tags me. I didn’t hesitate to call Maria and get an estimate and they completed the work within days. Maria messaged me at every stage of the repair with a significant amount of details. Always friendly, always EXTREMELY responsive. At this point I’m going to refer to this Gerber location as “Maria’s”. The level of effort she puts in to ensuring you are satisfied with the process and experience at “Maria’s” is authentic and removes any stress from the process. Thank you…again…for making everything efficient and easy!!!
