Check in was quick and easy, a small upsell attempt and some issues with the two screens but I was out the door and in the car in 5 minutes. Roelen was very friendly and offered up some sight seeing ideas as well as restaurants. I was pleased up until we dropped the car off. When the woman walked around the car and said everything looked good she handed it to me to sign and much to my surprise my bill was $300 higher than I had booked and agreed to. She said to go in to the office to fix it and I spoke with Roelen again to no avail. The manager contacted me and I found out they had added the collision insurance which I EXPLICITLY denied because I purposely brought my travel credit card to put the rental on since it has $125k coverage. The manager listened at first and I asked him to review the footage since i was literally the only customer in the room when I picked up the car. He then accused me of buyers remorse and not checking my email. Did he think i asked him to review the footage if i was lying? Well, I'm on vacation and didn't bring a laptop and didn't plan on checking work email. Extremely rude management and running some shady bait and switch tactics to charge more. Typical US rental unfortunately.
