  Took my truck for a failed safety so I could do my registration, they did the failed safety, I paid. Went to do my registration and came back to finalize my safety check. Then I was told I need an original copy of my exemption that DOT gave me for non commercial use. I never received an original copy, DOT keeps the original. And I’ve had my safety done since 2022 with that same paper. Not sure how I’m supposed to have the original when DOT keeps that in their file. Lost my $26 for the safety that they refuse to complete. They Should have not done it, in the first place if they wanted original copies.

  I scheduled an appointment at the Kapolei location for service and coordinated a ride based on that commitment. Upon arrival, I was told the service could not be completed. The appointment was then rescheduled—only to be pushed again. At that point, it became clear there may be a breakdown in coordination around scheduling, communication, and execution. What stands out most is not just the delay, but the pattern: Customers are being asked to repeatedly adjust their time, while the system does not seem aligned on what can realistically be completed and when. Additionally, receiving a call from the contact center at 2:00 AM Hawaii time is not acceptable and reflects a lack of awareness of local time zones. This post is not simply a complaint—it’s feedback. The opportunity here is to improve consistency, communication, and accountability so customers can rely on commitments being met the first time. Over the past few months, this appears to be a recurring issue worth addressing. PRO TIP- to do better, When a customer cancels, they see it as signal, not just a transaction ending. They should: Acknowledge the cancellation Ask a quick, respectful question: “Would you mind sharing what led to the cancellation? It helps us improve.” ( DID NOT ASK ) Listen (not argue) Log the reason This is called closed-loop feedback

  Just wanted to ask regarding a Failed Safety Document due to having my out of state plates the individual working at the front desk literally just kept staring at the screen as we were talking and mumbling he words and said can't do it until Monday. Which ok I understand but i was also trying to ask how long does it take since I have an out of state and I just need the failed documents and he just kept saying I only have one inspector. I just said thank you and walked away.

  They quoted me $225 to hook a code reader up to my car and tell me what was wrong with it. And said it would take a few hours to do. Better to go buy your own code reader and doing it yourself. Cost like $50. Takes 5 minutes to do, computer does all the work.
