Hard to find these days but this is an old fashion, honest shop, won't charge you for something you don't need or upsell in anyway. I called a little after they opened to explain my situation on a potential exhaust leak w/ smell in the cabin. Roland was able to schedule me for an 11:00am inspection, same day (during Christmas week, WOW). No wait time when I got there. He was very knowledgeable and showed me my exhaust system underneath the car while searching for the leak. I appreciate his patience and explanation. Would return here for future work.

Before doing any work Roland had me walk over to and under the car, which they had up on the lift, to discuss what I wanted to do. He explained upfront that in the end it's ultimately up to me what I want to do with my car and that he's there to offer any guidance. Very pragmatic and I appreciate that. We discussed my two options: a) fit the parts I had into the existing system or b) build a custom cat-back with the parts I had; Gave me a quote for both options and thoroughly explained the cost breakdown to me; I decided to go with option B. The work was done in about 4 hours and I couldn't be happier with the result. Lifetime guarantee on their welds and pipes. Nice piece of mind there! This is the second time I've been here and left a happy customer. Thanks Roland and the rest of the team @ Exhaust Systems Hawaii in Kailua.
