  We had an excellent experience with National Car Rental, and I cannot recommend them enough. The process was smooth from start to finish, which is exactly what you want when you’re ready to get on the road. A special shout-out to Thelma, who assisted me at check-in. She was incredibly professional, efficient, and welcoming. Her helpful attitude made the entire pickup process a breeze and started my trip off on the right foot. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and exactly what I needed. It's rare to find such consistent, high-quality service, but Thelma and the rest of the team truly delivered. I will definitely be choosing National for my future rentals.

  CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE Unfortunately, the person checking me out had the audacity to charge me for half a gallon of gas, without mentioning anything about an extra charge. This is absolutely unacceptable, considering: a) the needle on the car was as high as it can go b) the nearest gas station is only 1.5 miles away (the gas station I filled up at was 2.5 miles away). Maximum, I only used 1/10th of a gallon between filling up the car and returning it. c) I pay a premium to rent with National to not have to deal with stuff like this. I could've gone with a different company and saved a ton of money. Yes, the charge for gas was small, but it's dishonest (and possibly illegal) to scam people, even if it's only a couple dollars. Not to mention, when I arrived, I noticed that National had a much worse selection of jeeps to choose from than Enterprise next door did (National only had one option, while Enterprise had 4-5, higher trimmed jeeps to choose from). This was disappointing to see, as I do pay a premium to rent from National. An employee did explain that the Enterprise vehicles had higher milage, but it's still disappointing to see I could've had greater selection if I paid less
