  Showed up to Alamo desk to find out there was a “national recall” on the batteries jeeps use. Although there were plenty of other rental cars places still renting their jeeps. Jeeps all over the place. Was told we could get another suv at no extra charge. We requested a midsized (which was needed for what we were doing on vacation) to find out there were no mid sized SUV’s left in the rental area. Already wasted enough of our time and ended up with a full sized suv.

  Great price, easy to find. The line moved quickly. Our representative was easy to understand and knowledgeable when it came to the insurance coverage I already had with my credit card. No hassle was nice after a long flight. There was a great selection available although I used the one I already picked online. Great signage and instructions on how to pickup and drop-off were a dream. The best part is I loved that I could choose when I needed to pickup and drop-off the vehicle! It made all the difference. Alamo rocks and I will use them again without hesitation! The Gmc Terrain had a very user friendly cellphone interface that made GPS and music seamless and safe by being hands free. The hours for pickup and dropoff made it perfect. Thank you.

  Option to bypass the check-in counter and proceed straight to vehicle is the only way to fly (or drive!). Bye-bye Budget!

  I rented a car from Alamo at the Maui airport and had a pretty disappointing experience. After a long flight, I provided my credit card for the rental hold. The employee gave me my paperwork and keys, but failed to return my credit card. I realize I should have been more diligent, but I was tired and focused on picking up the car and was foolishly unsuspecting. I only noticed it was missing after getting to my hotel, about an hour away. I locked the card and contacted Alamo’s lost and found, but eventually gave up after realizing it was a lost cause. The next day, I received a fraud alert for a $52.25 attempted charge at a local smoke shop, “Westside Vibes”. At the end of my trip, I returned to the airport and found the same employee. When I told him I never received my card, he went to the back and sure enough he still had it. Unfortunate this occurred because otherwise the rental process was smooth and I got a fun vehicle for a good price. I would be very careful when dealing with this company and hope others don’t make the same mistake as me.
